Santa Rosa Beach is a historic beach community that stretches north of U.S. Highway 98 and is considered one of the oldest along 30-A. Those in the know will tell you that Santa Rosa Beach, which is the official name for much of South Walton, is sandwiched between Blue Mountain Beach and Dune Allen Beach.

Gulf Place, located further west, is the heart of Santa Rosa Beach, with expansive green lawns, charming boutiques, cafes, and gourmet eating.
